Love doing weddings for couples that we already know. Years ago we had the pleasure of doing Courtney's senior portraits and her sisters wedding so it was so nice to spend the day with this family that we adore. Their ceremony was held at The Rehoboth Presbyterian Church. Love actually getting to photograph in a really old church since there are so few left in our area. Their reception was held at the Pocomoke Fire Hall and I must say itis very nicely done and the decorations were beautiful. Watermans in Crisfield made some awesome food.
We already knew this wedding was going to be a blast. We had done Lauren and Matt's engagement pictures and they were so much fun to be with. Lauren is a natural beauty and Matt, well he isn't too bad either. Lauren's little girl Makaila was just a joy to be around. The perfect little flower girl. We had a great wedding at Trinity United Methodist Church, in Salisbury Md, officiated by one of our favorites Rev. Patterson. Afterwards Matt and Lauren took a horse drawn carriage over to Salisbury University where we finished up their pictures. We don't get the opportunity to do many weddings at Salisbury University because of the small window that they do them in, but when we do they are always really nice and Kelly does a fantastic job. Wish they could do more. Jim from Steve Moody Entertainment did a great job with the music and once again City Florist provided beautiful flowers and decor. Don't be mad Matt and Lauren but I have to say the best part of the reception was the candy bar. Forget a color scheme they just had all the best candy you can think of. Andrew and I adore you guys and this one hardly seemed like work.
Breathtaking was the first thought that came to our minds when we arrived for Brittany and Carter's wedding. Brittany was absolutely stunning and the Davis family had opened their home for Brittany and Carter to have their wedding. We were in heaven! The weather was gorgeous and so much time was put into making this wedding perfect. You could see it in the details. They had thought of everything from the flip flops for the dancing feet to the wraps in case it got chilly. We spent a good amount of time doing pictures with this couple and our favorite part of the day was when Brittany's dad saw her for the first time. We all cried like babies. Yes even Andrew. Brittany and Carter's wedding was all set to take place in front of the most beautiful willow tree. Just as it was time to start the ceremony we had a little accident. Brittany's grandma took a tumble in the kitchen and thank goodness there were doctors there to help. We weren't really sure how serious it was but she had a good bump on the head and her leg had been wrapped. She was carried to the front porch because she wanted to see the ceremony. After the ceremony grandmom smiled for pictures with everyone and then was taken to the hospital where they found she had a broken femur. How she did it, I will never know. She never let on that she was in pain and was just so happy to be there. What a party this was! Great food by Black Diamond, beautiful flowers and decorations by City Florist and one heck of a party with BK as the DJ. Andrew and I are so happy to know this family it was truly an amazing night!
It was a pleasure to photograph Lindsie and Micheal. They were married at the Court House in Ocean City, MD earlier in the day and we caught up with them later on in the evening for their portraits. Usually we are worried about timelines, family portraits, and are in our wedding day mode. Having none of those restrictions made the night a little more relaxing and we really had a blast. So happy for both of you. Thank you for letting us share this special moment with you!
Loving my job these days. I have been all over Ocean City, MD photographing my Seniors this year so far. Hanging out with them and capturing their spirit and personality really rubs off on me. I have had Seniors locally as well as from Colorado and West Virginia. More to come!
One of our favorite families shot in Downtown Berlin, MD. Emma has become a real pro at this. Thanks Mike, Becky and Emma for all the years of business.
Kelly and Brett Bennett had a beautiful wedding at one of our favorite venues Baywood Greens in Long Neck, Delaware. The day started with Kelly putting on her gorgeous gown and then lots of pictures around the grounds of her and the girls. We had a little maneuvering to do with the sun and wind that day, but we were determined to get the best images we could. The two of them had decided to do a first look so they would not have so much to do afterwards so a special moment for Brett to see his future wife was created on the bridge at Baywood. There to catch this special moment along with us was Lavon Films. It was our first time working with them that day and we really enjoyed it. They really had a unique style of filming. Kelly and Brett really wanted to enjoy their day and were concerned that they weren’t all that comfortable in front of the camera. I love when people tell us that because it just makes us work harder at having a great time. This couple was so laid back and as always the coordinator Natalia Ovide made things so easy for us. Their ceremony was beautiful and was followed by an outdoor cocktail hour. The reception was just like all the others we do there, perfect. Jim from Steve Moody Entertainment kept us dancing well into the night and everyone had a blast. Kelly and Brett you were the most awesome people to work with and Andrew and I are honored to have spent the day with you.
